Maintenance & Treatment

Care: The wool filling in the mattress can be replaced after about ten years.

To maximize its lifespan and your comfort, flip your wool mattress every 3 months if possible. It’s also recommended to vacuum both sides once a year, paying special attention to the tufting and piping. Finally, keep in mind that after a few years, you’ll have the option to have it re-stuffed to give it a new lease on life.

Treatment: The wool mattress contains no chemical treatments that could be harmful to your health.

Comfort & Compatibility

Home: This French wool mattress offers superior comfort and enhanced support. On a scale of 1 to 10, the firmness rating is 9/10, with 1 being the softest and 10 the firmest. If you’re looking for a plush mattress or a soft sleeping surface, choose a model other than a wool mattress.

Support: Rated 9/10 for firmness, this mattress is designed for those seeking optimal, enhanced support.

If you're looking for a soft mattress or a plush sleeping surface, choose a model other than a wool mattress.

Compatibility: Slatted bed bases, whether covered or uncovered, flexible or rigid.

Important: The wool mattress must always be placed on a bed base—not directly on the floor—to ensure proper air circulation.

Setup: If your wool mattress seems too small when you unpack it, don’t worry—it was compressed during shipping and will quickly return to its original size. Simply flip it over (head to toe and front to back) every week for the first 3 weeks of use. Note that there may be a slight smell of organic wool when you open the package, but it will naturally disappear in less than two weeks.

On the desire to restore the value of manual labor and craftsmanship

"Offering eco-friendly products also—and above all—means offering products made locally through meticulous work with the materials to bring out all their properties.
Craftsmanship is a journey into the very essence of authenticity, through ancient techniques and a production process that moves at the pace of humanity. Only patience and passion allow us to bring out the best in nature."

100% natural

Extremely comfortable

Naturally Healthy

Craftsmanship and a passion for healthy, natural nights

Ultra-local natural materials

The wool used to make the mattress core comes from a local farm located less than 100 km from the workshop. Virgin wool is a fine material renowned for its softness.
The ticking is made of French linen, which is neither treated nor dyed, giving it a touch of elegance thanks to its natural ecru color and timeless look.

The Comfort of Nature

Our wool mattress offers a firm feel for enhanced support. Wool also has the advantage of regulating temperature, protecting you from both heat and cold. The fiber’s scaly structure traps air and acts as an insulator. Finally, it has excellent moisture-wicking properties for greater comfort.

Design quality that stands the test of time

The linen is exclusively padded to ensure the wool is well supported, thereby extending the product’s lifespan. This sturdy fiber improves with age, as it softens with each wash, and does not pill or lose its shape.
After about ten years, you can have the filling replenished to once again enjoy optimal comfort.

A low environmental impact

Flax is an exceptional material that is abundant throughout France. It is therefore a local resource that requires very little water to grow. Furthermore, no fertilizers or pesticides are used. As a result, flax is considered a highly eco-friendly fiber.

The Wool Mattress in Detail

Natural bedding made in France
For natural bedding, an organic wool mattress is the perfect choice.
In fact, the filling of this traditional mattress is made entirely of sheep’s wool. It is pure virgin wool, meaning it has not undergone any chemical treatment. Before being used in the wool mattress, it is washed with water without soap or chemical treatments.
Wool has natural properties that promote optimal comfort. In fact, contrary to popular belief, wool is highly breathable and has excellent moisture-absorbing properties. This mattress therefore promises very comfortable nights in both summer and winter. The wool is sourced from a local farm less than 100 km from the manufacturer’s workshop. It is virgin wool from the first shearing of the lambs.

The cover of the natural wool mattress is made from natural linen. This material is sourced and woven in France. In addition to its modern and timeless aesthetic, linen is an eco-friendly material because it requires little water or chemical treatments during cultivation.

The Quality of Artisanal Craftsmanship
Our mattress is made in France, specifically in the Aveyron region. The artisan crafts each mattress by hand using traditional methods. He employs a unique water-washing technique. The entire production process is done by hand, and each mattress is made to order.
The tufting technique allows for the creation of a durable mattress with a filling of carded wool that retains its shape.

To maximize its lifespan, you can have it refurbished after a few years—that is, have the padding replaced—and continue to enjoy its comfort.

The comfort of an eco-friendly mattress
This French wool mattress offers superior comfort and enhanced support. On a scale of 1 to 10, the firmness rating is 9/10, with 1 being the softest and 10 the firmest. If you’re looking for a plush mattress or a soft sleeping surface, you should choose a model other than a wool mattress.
For your new nights of sleep, this sustainably sourced wool mattress is compatible with any type of bed base. To give your bedroom an elegant look, you can pair it with an upholstered bed base or a wooden bed base with rigid or flexible slats.
