There are various mechanisms used in convertible sofas:

- BZ sofas: These sofas unfold using a set of casters, and the mattress is folded into three sections. As a result, it is basically made with relatively low-quality, soft foam.

- Sofa beds: Since the seat and backrest convert into a mattress, these parts are not specifically designed for that purpose and therefore do not offer the same level of comfort.

- Rapido sofas: The perfect compromise between a sofa and a bed, this type of sofa can accommodate a real mattress. It also features a bed base designed specifically for this purpose. To ensure the best possible comfort with a real mattress, we’ve chosen this option. Practical and easy to use, you can easily unfold it and quickly put it away in the morning.

When you're shopping for a sofa, it's hard not to find one you like—there are so many styles to choose from. Different colors, different materials, different shapes…

At Kipli, we typically work with natural materials. They help protect the environment and create a healthy indoor environment. In contrast, velvet, synthetic leather, polyester, and other such materials are derived from petrochemicals. In addition to their environmentally unfriendly composition, they have also been chemically treated with potentially harmful substances.

For the OLIA and PALM collections, we chose a linen fabric. Beautiful and very elegant, this material also has the advantage of being soft. It is woven to last for years and withstand the rigors of everyday life.

The FOLIA is a straight sleeper sofa or regular sofa with built-in storage. This 4-seater sofa model is just as comfortable by day as it is by night.

Ideal for small spaces, convertible sofas shouldn’t be too bulky, or they’ll make your room feel cramped. Another factor to consider is the number of people who will be using it. In fact, if there are just the two of you and you can afford it, a 160 cm bed will always be more comfortable for nights together.
