This material comes from a tree called Hevea brasiliensis, and it is harvested using a completely harmless process. The latex we use comes from sustainably managed plantations that use no pesticides or chemical fertilizers. This material has many advantages: it is natural, durable, comfortable, and biodegradable. The Kipli natural latex children’s mattress is manufactured in our factory in Italy, using traditional, family-based craftsmanship.

Today, 90% of the mattresses sold in Europe are made of chemical materials derived from petrochemicals. These synthetic materials can also be harmful to health and cause allergies. As for the Kipli mattress, the natural latex is not mixed with any synthetic materials: it is therefore 100% natural latex. It contains no toxic or chemical substances and thus emits no harmful substances or endocrine disruptors, which are responsible for indoor pollution. The healthy composition of the natural latex mattress has earned it ECO-INSTITUT certification .

Thanks to the benefits of natural latex, the Kipli children’s mattress offers optimal support for your child as well as the ideal level of firmness. The 15 cm latex core has a density of 72 kg/m³. It features 7 comfort zones to provide tailored support for each part of the body. This ensures proper body alignment and allows your child to enjoy the restful sleep essential for their growth. The Kipli children’s latex mattress offers the perfect balance of comfort—neither too soft nor too firm.

Thanks to its cellular structure and properties, natural latex is a breathable material. Combined with the organic cotton cover, the natural latex children’s mattress offers exceptional breathability. This composition helps regulate body temperature and promotes quality sleep, while reducing sweating and nighttime awakenings. It is also naturally antibacterial and dust-mite resistant, making it ideal for people with sensitivities.

For the cover, we’ve chosen organic cotton tufted fabric. This high-quality, durable material is made from 450 g/m² fabric and is hand-sewn in our factory in Italy. The organic cotton is not blended with any other materials, ensuring a completely safe cover. This material provides a soft and healthy feel against the skin. For optimal durability and to extend the life of your mattress, the cover of the natural children’s mattress is machine-washable. You can easily remove it thanks to a zipper that runs all the way around the mattress. For care, you can either machine-wash the cover (on a delicate cycle at 30°C) or have it professionally cleaned.

Our goal was to create a mattress that is not only comfortable but also durable, in line with our commitment to consuming more wisely and, therefore, less. Unlike synthetic foam mattresses, which lose their shape quickly, natural latex retains its shape.
