Down and Feather Comforter

What could be better than sleeping under a warm, cozy, and natural comforter in the winter? These are the main criteria we considered when designing the Kipli recycled down and feather comforter.

A very soft envelope

For the cover of the recycled down and feather comforter, we chose organic cotton. This incredibly soft fabric is free of chemical treatments. The Oeko-Tex label guarantees the absence of harmful substances ( such as optical brighteners, for example) and thus ensures a healthy night’s sleep.

The use of organic cotton also has environmental benefits. In fact, growing it in wetlands requires less water, and the absence of chemical treatments helps preserve the soil.

A filling made of recycled feathers and down

As an alternative to traditional comforters—which are very often made of polyester or other synthetic materials derived from petrochemicals—we wanted a sustainable filling. So we turned to recycled down. To avoid the dubious supply chains associated with feathers and down, we chose a company with a century of expertise that prioritizes short supply chains and artisanal craftsmanship.

The filling of our down comforter is perfectly balanced, as its breathability allows for air circulation that reduces the risk of night sweats. The combination of down and feathers provides a unique lightness and a cozy, enveloping feel. With a warmth rating of 4.5 out of 5, our warm comforter is ideal for winter nights.

It was important to us that the down comforter be easy to care for in order to maximize its lifespan. You can machine-wash it at 30°C and then put it in the dryer, or simply take it to a professional cleaner.

Our comforters and down comforters are also part of our commitment to responsible consumption. Although they are more expensive, comforters made from natural materials are of higher quality and therefore much more durable over time. This means you’ll need to replace your bedding less often.

To promote local employment and minimize our environmental impact, we decided to design our warm comforter in France. We chose to partner with a company based in Le Mans, which brings us the benefit of its more than 170 years of expertise.

Shipping for the Kipli down comforter is free and takes 15 to 10 business days. If you order multiple items, they may be shipped separately. A 2-year warranty is included in the price, and if you wish, we offer the option to pay in 3 installments at no extra charge using a credit card.

It is available in 4 sizes: 200x200 down comforter , 220x240 warm comforter, and 240x260 down comforter. For single beds, we recommend the 200x200 cm duvet. Depending on your preferences and needs, we also offer a all-season duvet suitable for any time of year and a lighter option for summer, both made from Tencel and organic cotton. They all provide optimal loft and comfort.
