Natural and Responsible Manufacturing

Our Picardie solid wood shelf with hidden mounting is made from a single material: solid beech.We chose this material for its quality and durability to create a product that will stand the test of time. To ensure responsible production, we source our wood from PEFC-certified forests. This certification guarantees that these forests are managed in an environmentally responsible manner, ensuring the preservation of ecosystems and the well-being of workers. Furthermore, solid wood has the advantage of absorbing CO₂ from the air, giving it a positive environmental footprint.The wood used to make this solid beech shelf comes from forests in Normandy, located less than 100 km from our manufacturing facilities in Picardy. This manufacturing process allows us to minimize transportation and support local employment.

Create a toxin-free home environment

Indoor pollution is a reality, and—a little-known fact—it is often more significant than outdoor pollution. Two of the main culprits are chemical treatments and/or paints applied to furniture and engineered wood, which contain large amounts of strong adhesives. To help reduce indoor pollution, this product contains no synthetic materials.As an alternative to chemical treatments and paints, we use a water-based, VOC-free varnish to protect the beautiful natural color of the Picardie solid wood shelf. Regarding its composition—and to avoid the use of melamine-faced or engineered wood—it is made exclusively of solid wood: beech. Like all our products, the Kipli wooden wall shelf meets a need with its simple, timeless design. As a result, it will easily adapt to your interior and future decor trends.For added elegance, we’ve chosen a wooden wall shelf with hidden mounting hardware. Mounting it to the wall is very simple: just insert two wall anchors into the wall, then screw them in, leaving them protruding by about 0.5 centimeters. Finally, place the wooden wall shelf onto the screws.
