Natural and responsibly sourced manufacturing

Our Marseille solid wood shelf is made from just one material: solid beech wood. We have chosen this material because of its quality and durability which ensure that our solid wood shelving will last the test of time.

In order to adhere to responsible manufacturing, we have chosen to use wood from PEFC certified forests. This certification guarantees that the management of these forests respects the environment, preserves the ecosystem and takes care of workers' conditions. In addition to this, solid wood has the added advantage of being able to store CO2 from the air so it has a positive ecological footprint too. The wood that's used to make this solid wood shelving comes from the forests of Normandy, located less than 100km from our manufacturing facility in Picardy. This manufacturing process enables us to minimize transportation and support local employment.

Promoting clean interiors

Interior contamination does exist and although it isn't referred to as much, it is often greater than exterior contamination. Two of the main culprits are the chemical treatments and / or paints which are applied to furniture and reconstituted wood which are rich in glues. To help reduce pollution in your home, we have chosen only healthy materials and our wooden shelves don't contain any synthetic materials. As an alternative to chemical treatments and paints, we use a VOC-free water-based varnish to protect the beautiful natural colour of the Marseille solid wood shelves. With regard to its composition, and in order to avoid using melamine or reconstituted wood, the Kipli solid wood shelf is made from only solid wood: beech.

Like all our products, the Kipli wooden wall shelf is the answer for those who appreciate a simple and elegant design. This means that it will easily adapt to its interior surroundings and will blend in comfortably with future decorative trends.

In order to increase the appeal of the wooden wall shelves, we have designed these with invisible fixings. Fixing the shelf to the wall is very simple. You will just need to insert two raw plugs into the wall and then insert the screws leaving them standing proud by around 0.5cm. Then you will just place the wooden wall shelf onto the screws.
