The advantages of solid wood
We have chosen solid beech wood for the Kipli bedside table. It doesn't contain any melamine or reconstituted wood. The solid beech panels give it a unique appearance and ensure great durability.
By avoiding the use of reconstituted wood and other synthetic materials, solid wood enables us to offer furniture that's free of endocrine disruptors and VOCs which helps to limit indoor pollution.
Solid wood, sourced from sustainably managed forests, is a renewable material with a very positive carbon footprint thanks to its ability to store CO2
Our bedside tables are made in France from beech wood that is grown in forests which are located less than 100 km from the Picardy workshops in which they are made: this ensures less transport and more local employment for a responsibly sourced product.

We have created this solid wood nightstand with the aim of offering a natural alternative to the melamine furniture that is found everywhere. The Kipli bedside table has been designed as a simple, durable and ecologically friendly piece of furniture.
This bedside table has been created in response to the same requirements as all of Kipli's products: it is a basic, elegant and minimalist item of furniture, with no superfluous elements. Designed as the perfect bedside table, it features a sliding drawer. The solid beech wood panels from which the table is made, give it an authentic and appealing appearance.
The wooden panels used to make the bedside table are made from strong, durable, solid beech wood that has been locally sourced in Normandy. No reconstituted wood has been used in the making of this bedside table. Reconstituted wood is commonly used in the manufacture of furniture and can contain elements that are potentially harmful to human health.
It is well known that furniture paints and varnishes are a major cause of indoor pollution due to the VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) they emit. We have chosen to use a colourless, vegetable varnish to enhance the naturally light colour of the beech wood and a natural oil to give the wood a darker colour. This choice has been made in order to avoid the use of any chemical paints or varnishes.

We have chosen a VOC-free, water-based varnish for the lighter coloured bedside table. In order to obtain a darker colour, we apply a natural oil. The solid wood nightstand doesn't contain any solvent-based chemical paints or varnishes.

Our solid wood bedside table is made from panels of solid beech wood. The beech wood we use comes from PEFC certified and sustainably managed forests in Normandy. Unlike most of the melamine wooden furniture that can be found on the market, the wood used in Kipli's nightstand, doesn't contain any reconstituted wood. We also chose this wood for its aesthetic appeal, as well as its strength and durability.
Like all Kipli's products, this wooden bedside table caters to customers' requirements whilst also respecting the environment. In order to offer a product that will stand the test of time and new trends, we have created this wooden nightstand as an item of simple and elegant design. For ease of use, it has a sliding drawer where you can put everything you might need close to hand during the night.
For a healthy home

We pay great attention to the environmental impact in the production of our products. That's why we decided to support local employment for the manufacturing of the Kipli solid wood bedside table. Located in Normandy, the forests from which the beech wood is sourced, are less than 100 km from our carpentry workshop where these wooden bedside tables are designed and made. In this manner, we are able to reduce transport and promote local employment with a view to more responsible production.
