Made entirely from natural materials

As is the case with all our products, we have chosen the best quality material for our playhouse bed: solid beech wood. This wood is sourced from PEFC certified forests in Normandy which means they are managed in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. In addition to its beautiful appearance, solid beech is a strong wood that is exceptionally durable.

Our aim is to offer our customers healthy furniture so that they can enjoy natural nights. For this reason, the solid wood children's bed doesn't contain any chemical glues or melamine-coated wood. To protect this solid wood, we have elected to use a VOC-free, water-based varnish. The children's playhouse bed won't emit any toxic substances or VOCs, (Volatile Organic Compounds) in your child's bedroom. These chemicals do contribute to indoor pollution and can be harmful to human health.

A timeless and durable bed

Thanks to its modular design, the playhouse bed can be transformed into a standard box-spring bed, to suit your child as it grows up. In fact, by removing the roof of the playhouse and rotating the base, the Kipli playhouse bed becomes a simple, single bed frame so you can change it easily when your child grows up. By offering a durable bed that's made from solid wood, we wanted to offer our customers a healthy alternative to melamine furniture for children. The wooden playhouse bed has been made in accordance with our principles regarding a healthy and natural interior.

The solid wood children's bed with its integrated frame is constructed with rigid slats to provide your child with the optimal support that's vital for their development.

The challenge for us when producing our furniture is to ensure that our impact on the environment is minimal. In order to achieve this, we encourage and support local employment by choosing to use wood sourced from the forests of Normandy which are less than 100 km from our factory. This also means that we minimize the impact of transportation.

Like all our products, our beds don't contain any toxic substances. Thanks to the absence of these, the playhouse bed doesn't emit any VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) which can contribute to indoor pollution.
