High-quality bedding

"Excellent quality; my customers are very satisfied with the bedding."

Second purchase

"This is the second bed I've ordered from you (second half of 2023), because I was already very, very satisfied with the first one. The storage compartment really looks like a 'real' one, assembly is easy if you follow the instructions carefully, and the materials—especially the wood—are high-quality and sturdy. Delivery went smoothly and on time, and the delivery people were very friendly and careful. It’s a worthwhile investment over time and saves a huge amount of storage space since it keeps things dust-free. If I were to buy another one, I’d choose the same model again, but I now have everything I need for a good night’s sleep. Just a quick tip for anyone who reads in bed before falling asleep: place a protective cover (like a baby blanket, etc.) over the headboard to prevent any marks (especially from oily hair), so you can keep your headboard looking its best for as long as possible—the fabric is truly high-quality. But it’s well worth the small effort. The only minor downside is that I’ve never seen any promotions or sales on this item. However, I highly recommend it, and thank you to Kipli for prioritizing quality, elegance, and durability."

Otto Linen Storage Bed for a 200/160 Mattress

"It’s very spacious, perfect for storing comforters, pillows… A high-quality, well-designed wooden storage chest that’s very easy to put together. The lift system—which supports the weight of the 200/160 mattress to allow access to the storage compartment—is very effective, quiet, and easy to operate. The linen finish is understated and adds a touch of elegance. This was our first purchase from Kipli, and we’re very satisfied—from the moment we placed the order to the delivery date and timing. We highly recommend this retailer without hesitation. We’ll definitely be back for future projects. Thank you, Kipli."

— Alain D. (5/5)

A good bed

"The gas struts are a bit weak if there's a comforter on the mattress (160x200); in that case, the bed won't stay open on the strength of the gas struts alone. There's no problem if the comforter isn't on top or if it's pushed up toward the headboard. Plenty of storage space—and very convenient!"

— MORNET C. (5/5)

The bed is okay, but delivery and assembly need improvement

"The bed is comfortable and matches what I ordered and what was promised. However, delivery took longer than expected, and even though I paid for assembly, the delivery people refused to put up the headboard!"

— BARRAL, M. (4/5)

Delighted

"The carrier was EXCELLENT, and so were the bed and mattress."

— Mendelsohn J. (5/5)

Elegant, natural, and practical, it

"Elegant, natural, and practical, it fits perfectly in our small bedroom. The wood smells wonderful, and there's plenty of storage space for a 160 x 200 cm bed. The Otto bed is perfect for our needs. With the Premium latex mattress, we no longer wake up with back pain."

— Schulz J. (5/5)

A beautiful, high-quality bed

"Great quality and a nice look thanks to the linen fabric. The craftsmanship is truly artisanal (we had a hard time installing the back panels, which weren’t quite the right size, but we managed to get them to fit!). Sturdy legs. The bed looks sturdy and built to last. The box spring is firm (combined with the firm mattress we put on top, it’s very firm). Plenty of storage space in the storage compartment."

— Alexia R. (4/5)

Discover the unique features of the OTTO wooden and linen storage bed...

A wooden storage bed is the perfect solution for sleeping comfortably and adding storage space to your bedroom.

Most storage beds sold on the bedding market are made from synthetic materials. The frame is made of melamine-coated or engineered wood, and both the upholstery fabric and the filling are made from polyester. To offer an eco-friendly alternative, we have chosen to use natural materials.

The frame is made of poplar, a French wood sourced from sustainably managed, PEFC-certified forests. We chose this wood for its strength and lightness.

For the upholstery, we chose French and Belgian linen woven in France. Our French weaver, Lemaitre Demeestere, has been an expert in the field since 1835. Thanks to the natural color of this eco-friendly fiber, it is elegant and timeless.

As an alternative to the usual polyester fillings, we’ve added flax fiber beneath the cover to give the upholstery a little extra body. This eco-friendly material is ideal because it’s easy to grow, requires less water, and doesn’t need chemical treatments.

Finally, the storage bed is made entirely in France, which allows us to support local jobs and reduce our environmental footprint.

The storage space is accessible through the lift-up section of the storage bed. This provides you with very convenient storage. Its elegant design complements the decor of your adult or child's bedroom.

To ensure you enjoy exceptional support, the mattress features flexible slats. Since the box spring accounts for 30 to 40% of your mattress’s firmness, it’s important to choose a high-quality box spring.

The birch slats are uncoated and provide your bedding with optimal breathability.

We do not use any synthetic materials or chemical adhesives in the construction of our wooden storage bed base . Furthermore, our materials are not chemically treated. Because these materials are not used, the storage bed base does not emit VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), which are partly responsible for indoor air pollution. This allows you to enjoy healthy bedding that promotes restful sleep.

To ensure you receive premium service, delivery of your storage bed base is free. It will be delivered within 10 to 15 business days. In the event of any manufacturing defect or flaw, you are covered by a 5-year warranty included in the price.

The storage bed with a built-in box spring is available in several sizes. The 90x190 storage bed is suitable for a child, and the other sizes (140x190 wooden storage bed, 160x200 wooden storage bed) are ideal for adult bedding.

If you’d like to complete your bedding set, we offer natural mattresses. Unlike the mattresses commonly found on the market (memory foam, Bultex, etc.), Kipli mattresses are made from natural materials, without any chemical treatments. We also offer organic cotton bedding that is uniquely soft, available in 6 colors (white, pink, teal, midnight blue, olive green, pearl gray). All of our products also come with free shipping.

At Kipli, we are committed to paying our partners fairly. That's why we maintain a fair pricing policy—with no promotions—all year round.
