How Can I Sleep Better?

How Can I Sleep Better?

Kipli shares its tips in a carefully crafted guide.

Did you knowthat over the past fifty years, we’ve lost 1 hour and 30 minutes of sleep? The French sleep an average of 6 hours and 42 minutes per night (a minimum of 7 hours is recommended!), which affects our health, our performance, and our social lives. To remedy this, we’re sharing the keys that will help you master the art of restful sleep… Feel free to share this as much as you like ;)

That blue dream… not at all wonderful

The blue light emitted by screens has harmful effects on our sleep. In fact, exposure to this type of light before bed causes our biological clock to run late, which in turn makes it harder to fall asleep. As you can see, to sleep like a baby, it’s best to stop using screens 1.5 to 2 hours before going to bed.

Would you like a cup of tea?

To follow in Alice’s footsteps and journey to Wonderland at bedtime, green tea will be your best ally! In fact, natural teas and herbal infusions without added flavors have many properties that soothe the discomforts responsible for our restless nights. For example, green tea is rich in antioxidants, chamomile soothes stomach issues, and valerian root has a relaxing effect that’s perfect for unwinding before bed. Get Your Fill of Vitamins

Tell us what you eat, and we’ll tell you how well you’ll sleep! While coffee gives us a little midday boost, tryptophan helps us drift off to sleep. Trypto… what? Tryptophan is a vitamin that’s essential for the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone. No wonder, then, that consuming it regularly helps you sleep better! You can find it in eggs and cheese.
