In 2025, we continued to do what we love most: designing pieces that last, that fit seamlessly into everyday life without disrupting it, and that leave room for the simple joys of living. The year was marked by collections that explore materials—wood, ceramics, and textiles—and by a single, constant desire: to make our living spaces calmer, more intuitive, and more sustainable.

We presented BAOBAB: Complete the Collection, Let the Walls Breathe

TheBAOBAB collectionhasexpanded to include a series of solid oak wall shelves.Whethera single shelfora multi-tiered arrangement, in fixed or modular versions, everything has been designed to create a wall with the same rhythm as a musical composition. The mounting hardware is discreet, the aesthetic is minimalist, and the wood does the rest: it brings an immediate sense of warmth without feeling overwhelming.
These shelves are made in France, in the Mayenne region, at a family-run workshop where the art of woodworking has been passed down through five generations. To support this craftsmanship and ensure responsible production, Kipli has invested30%inthis workshop: a concrete commitment to preserving a rare craft and better managing the supply chain.
There was alsothe BAOBAB bed: a statement piece—simple, sturdy, with its solid oak bed frame.
Silver Award Winner at the 2025 Design Grand Prix

This award, presented in the Industrial Design / Furniture category, recognizes our Clairière, Baobab, Hamac, and Nénuphar oak bed collections: a quest for balance between simplicity, craftsmanship, and comfort—values dear to Kipli. Crafted from solid oak sourced from sustainably managed European forests, the collection features a shared frame and interchangeable legs, creating distinct styles while streamlining production and logistics. The project originated from a collaboration between Jocelyne Boisson, a work-study student at the École Supérieure de Design des Landes, and Antoine Loredo, co-founder of Kipli, and was brought to life in Mayenne at our manufacturer’s facility. The certification can now be applied to the entire range and its associated components as a mark of quality.
We launched HIKARI: light as a stroke of silence

WithHIKARI, we’ve opened a new chapter: the world of lighting. Floor lamp, pendant, table lamps… objects that don’t seek to impress, but to be just right.
The collection combines ceramic, solid oak, and components sourced from Europe, with a particular focus on light diffusion: soft, even, and soothing light. HIKARI fits into an interior like a point of balance, a calm, almost meditative presence. It reminds us that comfort comes not only from what we touch, but also from what we feel.
We presented “Au bord du lac”: a more fluid, more airy bedroom

Summer marked the arrival of the collection By the Lake, designed around a single theme: that of a lighter, airier interior.
The Premium Storage Bed La Voile offers a practical solution to storage needs without compromising on elegance. With a built-in storage compartment, a smooth and secure opening mechanism, a frame made of PEFC-certified solid French wood, and fabric upholstery (linen, cotton, recycled wool), every detail is designed to last and provide ease of use in everyday life.
In the same spirit of taking a breath, the bench La Pause extends this sense of movement. It features a comfortable seat made of 100% natural latex, a sturdy frame crafted from solid wood and French poplar, and sustainably sourced fabrics. A piece that complements the flow of the bedroom without taking up too much space.
And to support a good night’s sleep from the ground up, premium box springs Le Lac bed bases round out the set. Available in pocket springs or drawers, they are made in France with certified solid wood, recycled wool, and natural fabrics. A quiet, essential foundation.
We launched 7 A.M.: three rugs, three moments in the morning

From the collection 7 A.M.collection, we explored a different kind of material: the floor, the place where first steps are taken. Three rugs, three shades of waking up: Awakening, Bonjour, Daydream.
Wool plays an important role here. The rugs Early Learning and Bonjour rugs are handwoven in India from wool or a wool/viscose blend. Alongside them, Rêverie offers a more understated and contemporary design, made in Belgium from recycled polyester. A shared vision unites the entire collection: to make a space feel cozier, without going overboard.
First Participation in Paris Design Week

Paris Design Weekisa Parisian event dedicated to design, during which, for a few days, the city becomes a journey through exhibitions, installations, showrooms, and gatherings. People come to discover materials, techniques, and objects—and sometimes simply to let themselves be surprised as they move from one venue to the next.
Amid the hustle and bustle of Paris Design Week (September 4–13, 2025)—a veritable marathon of back-to-back exhibitions and discoveries—we’ve chosen a different pace: that of a moment of respite. It’s a way of reminding ourselves that a serene interior isn’t just something to be described—it’s something to be experienced through touch, in the light, and in the time we allow ourselves to slow down.
For our first time participating in this event, we opened the doors of the Kipli store on Tuesday, September 9, to offer a different way to experience our world: less about the visual impact, more about the sensation. The idea was simple: create a space for calm, try things on, touch them, and let your body decide.
Starting at 2 p.m., guided tours welcomed journalists and industry professionals, serving as a gentle introduction to a space designed like a lounge. Then, starting at 6 p.m., the store opened its doors to everyone for a timeless break, with free admission: as night fell, it was the perfect moment to awaken the senses and reconnect—almost to the point of taking a nap—because at Kipli, comfort isn’t something you read about; it’s something you feel.
The journey felt like a four-part breathing exercise: take a breath, pause, take a nap, and get a good night’s sleep. It was a concrete way to live out our mission: to champion design that is more respectful, more sustainable, and more essential.
With our first participation in Paris Design Week, we are continuing our mission: to champion design that is more respectful, more sustainable, and more essential.

We have expanded our presence in France: places where people can touch, try, and understand

In Paris: L’Appartement Français
Beyond product launches, 2025 was also a year of building a presence and connecting with customers. We participate in L’Appartement Français, a space designed as a showroom featuring exclusively French brands. There, we deliberately showcase a selection of products that are 100% made in France: beds, sofa beds, and mattresses—all meeting the same high standards of transparency regarding materials and manufacturing.
The location also has symbolic significance: situated right behind the BHV, it serves, by contrast, as a reflection of the debates that have dominated the news regarding ultra-fast consumption. Without any grand gestures, a different way of living and shopping is taking shape here: local, responsible, and transparent. We’ll be there until spring, to meet people, explain our vision, and let the pieces speak for themselves.
In Bordeaux: Opening of a Store/Showroom
Another highlight of the year: the opening of a store/showroom in Bordeaux. Because comfort isn’t just about the specs—it’s something you feel. Kipli has created a space where you can touch the materials, try out the seats, lie down, and experience the difference that comes from meticulous, sustainable design. A serene space, where light flows freely and where you can take your time to choose. The store opened on December 11 at 4 Rue de Condé, 33000 Bordeaux.
In Paris: A store redesigned to make trying on clothes easier
In the same spirit, we’ve also decided to make some space in Paris. With the arrival of new beds and sofas, a need became clear: to give customers more opportunities to try them out, because at Kipli, comfort isn’t something you read about—it’s something you feel. So we completely redesigned the store layout. Where Level 0 previously featured three beds and two sofas, the space has been rearranged to now showcase five sofas and five beds. It’s a simple yet essential change that makes the store a more accurate reflection of our world, allowing the materials, designs, and craftsmanship to speak for themselves.
What Remains When the Year Ends
Ultimately, 2025 reinforced a belief: the most beautiful objects are often those that don’t impose anything, but stand the test of time. Pieces that endure, adapt, can be repaired, and are passed down through generations. Carefully selected materials, time-honored craftsmanship, and a constant pursuit of simple comfort—in the bedroom as well as in the living room.
What We're Planning for 2026
We will be hosting an event called “The First Free Nap Bar in Paris”
In 2026, we’ll be hosting nap sessions in our store—designed like a “nap bar”—so you can test a mattress the way it’s really meant to be experienced: in a calm, unhurried setting, with your body as your only guide.
We will announce our first Kipli ambassador
We will announce our very first Kipli ambassador: a collaboration designed to expand—in a new way—our approach to discussing comfort, durability, and consistency.
We'll be launching a series of podcasts to make sleep more understandable
We’ll be launching a series of podcasts to demystify sleep: to debunk myths, shed light on areas where many misconceptions still persist, and collaborate with sleep experts to share reliable, practical, and accessible guidance.
We will be introducing five new sofas
In the living room section, a new collection of sofas will be arriving, featuring five new models designed in line with our standards for materials and craftsmanship.
We will unveil a new Kipli website with a more fluid design
And because the experience often begins even before the first touch, a new Kipli website will support this momentum, featuring a more fluid and intuitive design to guide users more effectively and directly.
What comes next will unfold just as we like it to: with substance, time, and meaningful choices.
Kipli, plain and simple.
