Durable and lightweight thanks to the properties of solid okoumé wood, it was designed to last for many years. Its solid wood frame, which has no screws, also makes it easy to take apart.

Natural Solutions for a Healthy Home

The okoumé wood used for the LUCA bed frame comes from sustainably managed forests. To protect it and ensure it retains its beautiful appearance, a natural vegetable-wax-based oil is applied with a brush.

Thanks to its design, it contains no chemical adhesives that could emit VOCs, thereby helping to reduce indoor air pollution.

Comfort, now and always!

The LUCA bed base’s rigid solid wood slats provide optimal support for comfortable nights and restful sleep. Uncovered, they fit directly into the bed’s wooden frame, which is compatible with all mattresses.

"The bed is comfortable, but it creaks too much."

Very nice, but noisy

"The Luca bed and nightstand perfectly meet my aesthetic and ethical expectations. However, the bed frame creaks. I think it's because of the slats—wood rubbing against wood. We'd need to find a way to fix this issue. Other than that, I'm very happy with my purchase."

— SYLVIE (4/5)

beautiful and firm

"A very nice bed frame that creaks from time to time. I find the slats a little stiff. As a result, the mattress feels firm, and I feel like that blurs the difference between the firm and soft sides of the latex mattress."
