Bringing Your Old Bedding
Bringing Your Old Bedding
When delivering a double mattress, two single mattresses, or a Kipli bed, our shipping carrier can pick up your old bedding in Germany.
Cost of pickup
This option must be selected at the time of your order. The pickup fee for your old bedding is €39, regardless of the number of items to be picked up (e.g., one mattress, two mattresses, or one mattress and a bed frame).
Pickup Process
To take advantage of this service, you must order at least one Kipli mattress or one Kipli upholstered bed. The pickup is subject to a “one-for-one” condition, meaning that to have a mattress picked up, you must purchase a Kipli mattress. If you would like to have a mattress and a bed frame picked up, you must purchase a Kipli mattress and a Kipli upholstered bed frame, and so on. Pickup is only available for (non-electric) mattresses and bed frames. We cannot take back your old mattress if you order a custom-made mattress, a non-standard-size mattress, or a baby mattress. The take-back of old bedding is only available in Germany and Austria.
Terms and Conditions for Take-Back
Before your Kipli order is delivered, please make sure the items are ready to be handed over to our delivery service. You must ensure that the items will fit easily through the hallways, doors, and rooms in your home. If your bed frame is a flat-pack kit, you’ll need to disassemble it first.
What to Do with Your Old Bedding
Once the pickup is complete, our logistics partner will deliver your old bedding to Eco-mobilier, a French nonprofit organization. This organization then takes care of disassembling and recycling your used items to give them a second life. By purchasing Kipli products, you help fund the recycling process through the eco-contribution we donate to Eco-mobilier.
