To make our solid wood children's bed, we've used a high-quality material: solid beech wood. This wood is very sturdy and is the perfect material from which to create a durable piece of furniture. Furthermore, the wood we use comes from French PEFC-certified forests. This certification attests to the fact that these forests are managed sustainably and in an environmentally friendly way.

We wanted this wooden children's bed to be a healthy product. In order to achieve this, we've put aside any chemical varnishes or glues. Indeed, these synthetic materials can be responsible for the harmful emissions and VOCs, (Volatile Organic Compounds) which contribute to the pollution in our homes. So as to protect the wood, we've used a VOC-free, water-based varnish to give our children's bed a purely natural finish.

This solid wood children's bed comes with rigid wooden slats. These slats will provide your child with the best possible sleeping position by giving them the support they need. The slats are uncovered in order to enable the mattress to breathe better.

Our goal, when designing this product, was to offer our customers an ecological product that respects the environment. In order to limit our environmental impact and reduce transportation, we've chosen wood that comes from forests located less than 100 km from our carpentry workshops. Thanks to this shortened manufacturing process, we've also been able to support local employment. Furthermore, solid wood has a positive carbon footprint as it represents a veritable carbon filter and contributes to reducing the CO2 levels that are present in the atmosphere.

With a 15 cm latex core and 7 comfort zones, it will provide your child with optimum support and comfort. The ergonomic design of the mattress supports the natural line of the spine.
